Why clean your text?
Text pasted from Word, a PDF, or an email often carries invisible artifacts: double spaces, tabs, smart quotes (“ ” instead of "), multiple blank lines. These impurities cause issues in source code, CSV files, and CMS platforms.
On the web, extra whitespace needlessly increases content weight, disrupts mobile rendering, and can break the layout of whitespace-sensitive components (pre, code, textarea).

- Depending on the options enabled: consecutive spaces (reduced to one), sequences of more than 2 line breaks, leading and trailing spaces on each line, tabs (converted to spaces), and smart quotes (“ ” ‘ ’ — …) replaced with their straight equivalents (" ' - ...).
- Can I choose which options to apply?
- Yes, each option is an independent checkbox. You can toggle each cleaning type on or off as needed.
- Does cleaning change my text content?
- The cleaner only acts on whitespace and selected typographic characters. The actual text content (words, sentences, meaning) remains strictly identical.
- Is my text sent to a server?
